It's not just Taylor Swift hitting headlines for her unexpected collaborations, the President is at it too.
Barack Obama is set to appear on an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, and will trek through Alaska with the adventurer. As well as scratching up on survival skills, Barack is taking part in the programme in aid of raising awareness about climate change.
NBC announced: “President Obama will become the first US president to receive a crash course in survival techniques from Bear Grylls."
“Obama will meet with Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the effects of climate change on the area. The two will then come together in the Alaskan wilderness,” the channel explained.
And in case you're thinking this is a drill, The White House confirmed the news, explaining that the president is currently on a three-day visit to Alaska, and that he will meet Grylls on Exit glacier in the Kenai mountains.
Bear is currently working on the second series of the show and has previously taken stars including Channing Tatum, Kate Winslet and Zac Efron on one-on-one adventures. Though, we have a feeling this is going to be the most compulsive vieweing yet. The episode featuring Barack will air later this year, so stay tuned.
