It’s the biggest night in British Film and the 2015 BAFTAs certainly didn’t disappoint. From dreamy David Beckham causing red carpet hysteria to man of the moment Eddie Redmayne scooping the big gong, it was a night of style, celebration and a surprise appearance from Tom Cruise. Team Grazia were out in force stalking the red carpet, at the awards, the dinner and the after parties. Here’s 10 things we learnt from the night…
1) Keira Knightley and James Righton were the couple of the night
We spied the pair - who are expecting their first child together - canoodling throughout the entire awards ceremony - holding hands, laughing, kissing and joking together - they looked so incredibly in love. Nawww. As we arrived at our table for the dinner, we saw Keira snacking on sweets before the food arrived and her husband was handing out Werther's Original to passers by. What a nice guy.
2) Eddie got the shakes
Eddie Redmayne may have been hotly tipped for the Leading Actor gong but that still didn't stop him appearing incredibly nervous as he took to the stage to collect his award. His hands were shaking so much he had to hold onto his statue as he gave his thank-you speech. Could we love him anymore? Spoiler - no we couldn't.
3) Julianne Moore is our new girl crush
Not only did Julianne admit she was feeling hungry during the three-hour awards ceremony (they really should think about providing popcorn) but she teared up as she dedicated her BAFTA to her mother. We saw her in the flesh and she is utterly flawless. She's 54 years old people. 54. When we grow up we want to be her.

4) Standing Ovation for Stephen
As Stephen Hawking made his way on the stage to present an award for Felcity Jones the audience honoured him by giving him a standing ovation. Felicity joked: 'I'm pleased to be announcing this award with the only person on the planet who is more intelligent than Stephen Fry..' to which Stephen replied: 'And better looking'. Well played Sir.

5) A divine dinner
The awards ceremony was held at the Opera House before guests make their way to Grosvenor House for a sumptuous three-course dinner. Each table was decorated in the theme of nominated movies and the room looked spectacular. Think towers of Mendl's cake boxes from The Grand Budapest Hotel or piles of books for the Theory of Everything. Movie magic on a grand scale.

6) Champagne for Julie
We followed Julie Walters into the dinner and she couldn't wait to get her hands on a glass of Tattinger champagne promptly upon arrival at Grosvenor House - she even teased waiting staff by pretending to take a while tray. It made us laugh a lot.

7) David Beckham does the school run
At the dinner we caught up with David Beckham (see photo evidence below) who told us he wasn't having a big night becuase he had to be up early the following day for the school run. Can you imagine seeing DB at the school gates? David was with his best mate Dave Gardener (who is expecting a baby with Liv Tyler) and the pair were sat together having a right old gossip before leaving swiftly after dessert.

8) David's double kiss miss
Speaking of DB as he presented the first award of the night to the cast and crew of The Theory of Everything he went in to give Felicity Jones a double kiss but she totally pied him. Awkward. We're only assuming it must have been by accident. Who could turn down two kisses from David eh?
9) Douglas Booth loves a drink
The Riot Club star proved to be quite the terror at the party, liberating a magnum of Grey Goose from behind the bar and pouring generous portions to some tipsy friends. Dominic Cooper was more than happy to help him out too.

10) Jack O Connell has stamina
EE Rising Star winner Jack O Connell proved to be quite the party animal at the Weinstein bash. We found him still on the dancefloor - with a cigarette behind his ear and a drink in hand - at 5am as the party wound down. Lad.
