Modern Families actress, Ariel Winter, 18, graduated this week from high school, and to show her thanks for the support she received while studying, she posted a picture of herself, wearing a nice dress, next to a nice cake and some nice balloons. She looked great, and instead of her Instagram feed being filled with congratulations and support, she got body shamed.
Ariel is already an active voice in the #stopshaming debate, having commenting on the whole Kim Kardashian’s nude photo via Twitter back in March, and she didn’t hold back this time either. Posting another picture to Instagram she captioned it: ‘Embrace all that you are. Don’t let outside voices become your inner voice. #thisismybody #mychoice #loveyourcurves.'
She also took to Twitter this time to express herself, and rightly so.
