For those of you that have spent your evenings pining after the prospect of a red iPhone, your dreams have come true. Apple have just launched a red version of their iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
The new red number is in celebration of Apple’s 10-year partnership with (RED). You may not know what (RED) is, but you should so let us break it down for you. The organisation brings awareness to HIV and AIDS in Africa. Apple partnered with RED back in 2007, and currently contributes more than $130 million as part of it’s partnership.
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the new product within a press release on the Apple newsfeed: ‘the introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.’
You can get your hands on the new colour on Friday March 24th in both the 128GN and 256GB version - that’s literally double the GB and I need this amount of space on my phone, stat. Start saving, you’ve only got two days…shit.
They have also revealed a new updated version of the baby iPad pro including a brighter display and improved performance - plus it’s cheaper. Apple updates for one and all.
