The new iPhone 7 is set to launch in September, no biggie. Actual iPhone mages have been leaked, and guess what? There won’t just be the standard iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. There will also be a new addition to the Apple family, the iPhone 7 Pro. All hail Apple, there’s now going to be another phone that none of us can fit our tiny hands around to text.
It’s absolutely massive though, who could even hold that in the palm of their hand? Check out Chem Squire holding the iPhone 7 next to the iPhone 7 Plus, she can hardly hold the darn thing – she does have extremely tiny hands, but still – what if she wants to go Pro? She literally wouldn’t be able to.
The new iPhone 7 Pro is apparently a bit of a ‘top dog’ according to Forbes. It comes with a dual lens rear camera, which I had to Google because I have no idea what this is, until now. A dual rear lens is essentially two lenses with two different focal lengths. One is a wide-angle, while the other has a 3x zoom. So you’ll be able to switch lenses to magnify things off in the distant, without having to switch to zoom.
The new model will also come with a Smart Connector. This allows connected peripherals to simultaneously share power and data. Which in non-tech terms means other iPhone devices can connect to yours and share your power or data. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? When you run out of 3G just connect with your friends and voila, you can use up all their data to play Pokémon GO instead.
The iPhone 7 nor iPhone 7 plus won’t be getting these features – so if you want them you’ll have to shed out some extra cash. But hey I'm sure we'll all run to the shops in September to buy it anyway because we're never happy with the tech we have.
