Her recently noteworthy role in Les Miserablés may have been rather melancholic and emotional, but Anne Hathaway has once again proven she is a woman of many talents - one of them being comedy.
In the upcoming episode of new American TV show Lip Sync Battle, the 32 year-old takes on Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball, and completely slays it (in a good way, of course).
A preview clip for the episode shows Anne dressed in appropriately white undergarments and red Dr Martens boots, dramatically lip synching Miley’s famous banger before lunging herself onto a swinging ball.
Anne’s competitor also appears in the video – and it’s none other than her *The Devil Wears Prada *co-star Emily Blunt. Although Emily is seemingly impressed by Anne’s performance, we’ll have to wait for the full episode to see if she outshines her fellow actress.
Lip Synch Battle, which is hosted by LL Cool J, is a clear nod to Jimmy Fallon’s popular comedic sketch on The Tonight Show, where celebrities silently belt out famous tunes. Now with it’s very own show, previous episodes have already gone viral on YouTube, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shaking his booty to Taylor Swift. Anne’s is catching up fast, already clocking up a whopping 3 million views in 1 day!
We can’t wait to see what Emily will pull out of the bag.
