This weekend sees the first live show of The Voice UK. All 12 finalists are confirmed and have been rehearsing all week with their coaches. The woman capturing all the behind-the-scenes gossip and drama is the red-headed Irish beauty Angela Scanlon.

We chatted to Angela about raiding Rita Ora’s wardrobe, cramming marshmallows into her mouth and her dreams of spinning around in a red chair.

Grazia Daily: How are you feeling about the live shows?

Angela Scanlon: It’s going to be crazy! Everyone was really blown away at the secret showcase this week. The finalists and coaches are really excited too. It’s going to be a really great weekend.

Grazia Daily: So, you’re the digital presenter- what have you been doing so far this series?

Angela Scanlon: We have been doing an online show called The Voice Unheard the whole way through the auditions. It’s all about being down and in the mix and the fly on the wall so that we give an insight into all of the madness.

Grazia Daily: Have there been any big dramas or tantrums back stage?

Angela Scanlon: Everyone has been really well behaved. Everyone, by and large, shows up when they have to and they’re supposed to. I guess that may change once we go live on Saturday. That might mean that my job becomes a bit more challenging!

Grazia Daily: What is it like working with Tom Jones? Everyone seems to be under his spell…

Anglea Scanlon: He is a legend, which is something that gets thrown around a lot but he is the personification of that word. Lara Lee one of his acts calls him the ‘silver bear legend’. I asked him if I could call him the ‘silver bear legend’ too and he said I could call him anything whatever I wanted. So I’m not sure what I’m going to call him yet but he’s okay with it!

**Grazia Daily: What antics have you been getting up to back stage? **

Angela Scanlon: ** **I’ve been trying to get Tom Jones to do our marshmallow challenge. We have been filming videos of us singing Tom Jones songs. I sang ‘It’s not unusual’ with 12 marshmallows stuck in my mouth – it was hilarious.

Grazia Daily: What are you planning on wearing tomorrow night?

Angela Scanlon: I want to wear something that is comfortable. Obviously for the live shows it has to be big and glitzy. Emma and Marvin and the acts are going to be glamorous. It’s a big night. I always enjoy a bit of colour but again it has to be something comfortable if I’m going to be running around and flying around!

Grazia Daily: Have you got your outfit sorted for tomorrow night?

Angela Scanlon: I’m currently in the middle of trying on multiple dresses! There is everything from striped mini dresses to leather, metallic. I don’t know what to choose!

Grazia Daily: We spoke to Rita Ora yesterday about her wardrobe, have you raided her wardrobe yet?

Angela Scanlon: Everyone looks forward to seeing what Rita arrives in because she is old-school Hollywood glamour, she’s not afraid to flip it up a notch. I think everyone involved enjoys waiting for her entrance. I am definitely hoping to raid her dressing room soon in the next couple of weeks.

**Grazia Daily: How was London Fashion Week? **

Angela Scanlon: It was a busy couple of weeks because I hosted London Fashion Weekend which is right after London Fashion Week so the two weekends back to back is always really fun.

Grazia Daily: What was your favourite show?

Angela Scanlon: Simone Rocha because it is always really theatrical. I always look forward to her show. It’s never too crazy. I like going to other shows but they are mental! With crazy front rows and all that stuff. At this show it’s all about the clothes and not the front row.

**Grazia Daily: Who is your style inspiration for the red carpet? **

Angela Scanlon: I love Kate Bosworth, if I’m feeling particularly polished, I think she always looks amazing so if I’m getting ready to go on a red carpet, she is someone whose hair and make-up I will reference. She changes it up but she always looks kind of undone and low key and touchable.

Grazia Daily: And finally, have you had a spin on a red chair yet?

Angela Scanlon: I haven’t yet! The chairs are closely guarded. I’m so tempted but I’m 100% going to do it tomorrow. I am determined because everyone always asks! Marvin has told me that he is going to help me fulfil my dream of spinning in the red chair.
