Her parents Meg Mathews and Noel Gallagher epitomised Britpop in the '90s, but 14-year-old Anais Gallagher couldn’t be more down to earth. When she arrives on our Magritte-themed shoot to act as Dynamo’s assistant, she’s fairly quiet and a bit shy at first. But within minutes she’s chatting to everyone like she’s known them for years, and telling us about the pin ball machines in her dad’s house (oh to be a fly on the wall) and explaining that she’s studying Magritte at school – how apt.
Anais, who is close friends with Kate Moss’ daughter Lila Grace and Sadie Frost’s daughter Iris, is signed to Select Models and has just been revealed as the face of Accessorize's Star range. So while on set, we took the chance to chat to her about the shoot and her next steps...
GD: How did it feel to be offered the Accessorize campaign?
A: I was really happy to work with them. I knew it would be quite fun and not too serious. Also, it’s nice because you know lots of kids can go out and buy it. I love going into Accessorize and buying things.
GD: What’s your favourite piece in the collection?
A: A red heart necklace. I’ve got loads at my house, I’ve got about five. I love them. I also like these triangle necklaces as well.
GD: Who did you tell when you first found out you were the face?
A: I was excited but my friends were like, ‘yeah ok Anais’. They don’t care anymore! They’re like, ‘guess what happened on the weekend?’ and I’m like, ‘I don’t care either’.

GD: It’s a social media campaign – why is that important?
A: It’s so influential! It really gets things out there and everyone has an iPhone or a smart phone.
GD: Who do you like following on Instagram?
A: I’m obsessed with charliexbarker, she’s really cool. Her fashion is a bit out there. I also love miketheruler! I’ve started talking to him on Instagram. I want to meet up with him in New York but he’s probably too busy!
GD: How often do you update your Instagram page?
A: I post so much it’s a joke! I put a lot of photos of my dog and me and my friends at school. Stuff that’s really irrelevant and really boring to look at but I like the photos.
GD: Would you like to be involved in the fashion industry when you’re older?
A: I love fashion and it’s a massive passion of mine but I don’t want it to be my main goal in life. I’d like to be a presenter full time. It’s something I enjoy. I’m currently a presenter on CBBC’s Style Download.
GD: What would be your dream fashion campaign?
A: Burberry! It’s one of the coolest brands and their campaigns are always really flawless and I personally love them. I enjoy looking at them and the films they make. My mum did one when she was pregnant with me so I guess I’ve already done it but I’d like to do it when I can actually remember!
GD: We've loved having you on the Grazia shoot - this was your first big fashion shoot. How was it?
A: I was nervous at first. But it was a fun shoot so I didn’t have to really pose or anything.
