Amber Heard has kept relatively quiet ever since she married Johnny Depp on the sly back in February, up until now.
The American actress has finally broken her silence in a new interview, and the star of Magic Mike XXL revealed she is still "fiercley independent" despite her marriage to the Pirates of the Carribean star.
"Nothing is a dramatic change," Amber told Elle, "We've been together for a long time now, so it's been a fairly organic process. I have a fiercely independent spirit."
Amber began dating the 52-year-old after the two met on the set of The Rum Diaries in 2012, and have since kept their relationship out of the public eye.
"The thing that really scares me is the potential of losing my freedom," the 29-year-old revealed. "I never want for my life to lose the ability to transverse the world, with freedom and ease. The freedom and ease I have worked so hard to acquire for myself."
The couple quietly exchanged vows earlier this year, and held multiple private ceremonies at their home in West Hollywood and in the Bahamas.
Johnny Depp was previously married to makeup artist Lori Anne Allision and has two children with French model Vanessa Paradis following their 14 year relationship.
