We've been closely following Alexa Chung and Alexander Skarsgard's developing romance since they were spotted looking cosy on a breakfast date back in February, and now reports say the pair are getting "serious". A source tells Bang Showbiz that the 31-year-old model and 38-year-old actor are taking it slow due to their busy schedules, but that their relationship is "serious and has really heated up."
The news comes as the pair have been spotted spending time together at New York's Prospect Park and Botanical Gardens. A witness spotted them indulging in some PDA under a tree and taking photos of one another. And sure enough, Alexa posted a pic to corroborate the rumours, which sees her posing in a rose garden wearing a pair of cat eye sunnies and a moody pout. We can safely assume that Alexander was behind the lens.
Further confirming the pair's budding romance, another source told Us Weekly: "It's a fun relationship for both of them. She's just about as busy as he is and it's not really feasible (for them) to become a more committed couple, but the hang outs are great."
While both parties are yet to confirm their romance publically, they've been sited on several dates since February. Comedian Hayley Sacks first sparked rumours of the pair dating when she posted an Instagram of the twosome on a date at Bluebird Coffee shop in New York. The very same week they were seen looking loved-up at a second NY hotspot: Bowery Ballroom. A month on, they were seen holding hands during a Parisian dinner date at Caviar Caspa. And now it looks like they're official.
Alexa has been single since splitting with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner in 2011, while Alexander called it quits with the now-married Kate Bosworth the same year. Let's hope this new-found romance goes from strength to strengh for the pair - they certainly make a hot couple.
