This Aldi Vegetarian Section Only Contains Garlic Bread

Hands up if you like garlic bread. Hands up if you only ever want to eat garlic bread again. Hands up if you want garlic bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner all day errrrrryday. You better head to Aldi then.

Journalist Joe Farrar visited his local Aldi only to find out the veggie section was stocked with piles, upon piles, upon piles of garlic bread. Not exactly the nourishing and delicious meal he may have been looking for…or was it? He tweeted that as a vegerarian he was ‘very happy and here for it.’ So you know, garlic bread for months might not actually be that bad?

The tweet has since had a HUGE 18, 597 likes and 3, 593 retweets - so people are clearly finding it more funny than insulting. Maybe Aldi decided it was time to get rid of the Linda McCartney veggie sausages and give the garlic bread a bit of air time? Who knows...
