A nine-month-old boy was fingerprinted and booked on attempted murder chargesin Pakistan, after his family members allegedly threw bricks at police officers.
The alleged brick-throwing incident took place on 1 February, when police officers showed up to a home in Lahore trying to collect an unpaid gas bill.
Officers were seriously injured when the baby’s father, teenage brother and others started pelting bricks and all were booked on attempted murder, including the baby, who was fingerprinted in court on Friday. Mohammad Musa's grandfather held him as his fingerprints were taken.
A lawyer for the family said the police filed a wrong false arrest charge sheet. Duh. After the media caught wind of the story, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered the police official responsible for the arrest to be suspended.
