Walt Disney World. The Happiest Place on Earth, right? Wrong. C'mon, you know nothing is sacred on Reddit. A thread started by former Goofy of 25 years ihaveanotheridentity has revealed some of the parks most unsettling secrets #mickeyleaks

If you want to preserve the magical memories of your childhood, stop reading now.

1. There is a Mean Girls-Style Hierarchy Amongst Characters

‘the break rooms are like the high school cafeteria where the 'cool' princesses (Elsa and Anna) sit on one side and make eyes at the 'old' characters (Snow and Poppins)’

2. Characters are Very Protective of Their Turf

**‘**Donald Duck was, as usual, being a jerk and wouldn't leave my area because I had signed "Luv, Goofy" right over the bill of a Donald Duck hat. He threw a temper tantrum and as I was dragging him across the floor to get him back to his position a little kid ran out from behind the curtain at Pete's Silly Sideshow and we knocked her on her butt. Disney terminated me’

3. Disney World Used to Hold ‘Grad Nites’ and Apparently They Got Pretty Crazy

Until they pulled the plug in 2011, Disney World invited thousands of high, horny high school graduates to run rampant around Magic Kingdom after park closing hours and it all got pretty wild.

‘They locked the grads in Magic Kingdom from 9pm-4am. When I was a cast member, I saw kids pick up a Mickey Mouse and throw her off the bridge that separates Tomorrowland from Cinderella’s Castle. She landed in the creek and broke her back.’

4. There is Disney Jail For Misbehaving Guests

“It's just a room over the candy shop on main street. There's an officer back there that takes people to the local jail on 33rd street in Orlando. One time I had to tell a guest that their son was in jail from stealing from one of the stores and she did not take it very well.'

5. Character Stalkers Are A Thing

‘I had two stalkers for about 8 months. They would come watch my first two sets then they would go to the Animal Kingdom to watch Lion King and then head back to the Magic Kingdom to see my last two sets. They did this every day.’

Unsurprisingly, the princesses are the most commonly stalked but there are lots of reported cases of the animal characters being followed around the parks by ‘furries.’

6. There is a Huge System of Underground Tunnels that Runs Underneath the Whole of Disney World

'There is a ‘tunnel’ underneath (it’s actually the first floor, the second and third floors are what you see in the park.) There is a series of tubes that connects all the restaurants to the main dump thats behind Splash Mountain. There are two restaurants, a barber shop and seven of the original rides are run from down there.’

7. Aaaaannnd If There Was Ever A Reason Never to Go to Disney Again

‘There was also the Michael Chartrand case who was the Tigger that felt up one of the guests. That was a really embarrassing blemish for Disney. It was on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel which is plopped down on everyone’s doorstep at Disney’s Premium Resorts.’
