Last week Scrabble announced that its new dictionary would include the words ‘ridic’, ‘bezzy’ and ‘thanx’. And although it’s GREAT that Scrabble is trying to get down with the kids, stay ahead of the times, etc, it’s not 2008, guys. Jeez (which, incidentally is already allowed on the Scrabble board).
And anyway, everyone knows there’s no point using one word when you can shove two together and take a little bit of out of the middle – here are the 13 portmanteaus or blended words that basically sum up our lives right now (Courtesy of Daniel Dalton at Buzzfeed).

The moment you realisgh... reasgi... reasoin. Oh.
You finish your heartfelt speech to your boss asking for a pay rise, and realise she’s been checking her emails on her iPhone the whole time
You know there’s something a bit off about the whole thing, but you can’t put your finger on it. Until...
