Former reality star Gemma Collins has shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reminding them to cherish time with kids. She also reminded people that 'there’s always someone who doesn’t have what you got'.

The TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother star has struggled with fertility issues over the last few years, sharing that she's suffered several miscarriages and has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She shared the post alongside a photo with her her step-son Tristan during a seaside trip.

She wrote, 'Beautiful half term happiness it’s really not difficult to love a child unconditionally. I’m loving this [phase] of my life having time to be the best version of me embrace your children this half term don’t moan enjoy it remember there’s always someone who doesn’t have what you got let children be children.'

Gemma is engaged to Rami Hawash, and she previously shared that they were considering surrogacy to have children. She's also shared that she was considering fostering, as her mother had been a fostered child.

The response to her post was overwhelmingly positive, with one user writing, 'You're a great stepmum. I can tell he brings you so much joy. If you ever considered foster care in the future you'd be amazing.' Another wrote, 'I miss half terms and school holiday its my two now that they are all grown up... absolutely cherish those times whilst they're little.'

In October, she shared that she had been advised by doctors to terminate a pregnancy, as the foetus was intersex. She told the Everything I Know About Me podcast: 'It was a real shock. They advised me you need to have a terminationbecause this baby is not going to be right.'

She went on to say 'that once again I found my longstanding dreams of motherhood shattered into pieces.'

Gemma experienced her first miscarriage in 2012 and shared her story in 2020, saying she didn't realise she was pregnant and miscarried at home.
