Our mothers give us everything - they gave birth to us, for gods sake, which, as they regularly remind us, was the 'most painful experience of their lives but of course totally worth it'. Mums also continue to support you throughout your life - and while you bat them off as teenagers, you need them even more as you grow older and actually try and start being an adult.
Mums teach us to be great women, and how to deal with everything you go through as a woman. And for this, aside from that annual Mother's Day card and the occasional phone call, they get little thanks. So here's a kind of open letter/list to Mums everywhere - who rarely get the appreciation they deserve.
