Lady Gaga got engaged on Valentines Day - and the fashion world has been speculating ever since about what the singer will wear down the aisle. The experimental fashionista's wedding dress may have just been revealed, however.
Top designers - including Alberta Ferretti, Alexander Wang and Alber Elbaz - have been commissioned by WWD to sketch their predictions for Gaga's big day. While some have tapped into the star's partiality for an outrageous frock (think steak, Kermit the Frog and balloons for 'fabric'), others are bargaining on her opting for the traditional Big White Wedding for her marriage to Taylor Kinney.
In the OTT camp, Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled his Victoriana-esque design - complete with extravagant ruffles and a headpiece. Nicole Miller has sketched a risque sheer gown completely covered in graffiti-style writing, while Mara Hoffman has gone the full floral and thrown in a veil train made entirely of flowers.
However, the style icon has been keeping it below radar with her outfits of late. Tapping into this newfound dressed down Gaga is Donna Karen who sketched a classic white gown with gold finish, and Calvin Klein has put forward a minimal slip dress.
Gaga certainly has free pick of the creme de la creme of the world's designers, however as always it is impossible to predict the star's next sartorial step. One thing is certain: she will make the grandest of entrances.
