Nottingham-born disco diva Ronika, aka Veronica Sampson, is like a one-woman pop factory. Not only has she written an album's worth of undeniable toe-tappers both Kylie and Madonna would give their respective right arms for, she also directs most of her own videos and releases everything via her own label. While she's not running her own DIY empire she's DJ-ing all over the shop, even sometimes dropping her own songs in recognition of their own amazingness. We thought it would be a good idea to get her to compile a Bank Holiday Monday playlist aimed at simultaneously keeping the party going and slowly allowing you to calm right back down. The title? 'Feel-good tunes and laid-back grooves' she laughs. 'God, I sound a bit like a dad! Basically, it's for keeping the bank holiday going but allowing for a tea break or two.'

Enjoy!

'This is a gorgeous disco track from a London producer. This is for the people still going as well actually. It has a lovely build throughout and it fits in with this sort of disco renaissance that's happening. This is definitely one to drop at any point during a DJ set.'

'You'll love this one, it's amazing. This was one of my favourite tracks of last year. Such a big tune with a killer vocal and very disco but with an 80s style, which I'm obviously a fan of.'

'I think this track is a masterpiece. Those guys are geniuses. One of them is Daniel Lopatin who is Oneohtrix Point Never and they put this album out, Channel Pressure, in 2011. This one sounds like this futuristic yet 80s-sounding lost masterpiece. It's experimental but with a massive killer hook on the vocal.'
