In a case that's so murky it's tough to see past the first layer, Kesha, excellent human being and all round brilliant pop song writer has moved forward in her case against producer Dr. Luke by dropping charges against him in Los Angeles in order to get her music out there.

In an Instagram post, Kesha wrote that she 'need[s] to get her music out'. You probably remember that, since she took the lawsuit out against Dr. Luke for sexual and emotional abuse, she's been prevented from leaving Kemosabe Records which is owned by Dr Luke and Sony Music. This has effectively put a hold on her releasing any new work.

'This lawsuit is so heavy on my once free spirit, and I can only pray to one day feel that happiness again. I am continuing to fight for my rights in New York.' She wrote.

Reportedly, according to Kesha's lawyer, she is dropping the allegations in LA so she can focus her efforts in New York. At the same time, he says she's submitted 28 new songs to Kemosabe Records and she has a 'strong desire to release her next album and single as soon as possible.'

'Thank you for all your support.' She continued on Instagram. 'The support of my fans has been so beautiful and I'm so grateful for it. I'm Not sure where I would be without you all.'
