Happy Friday kids! This week in chart history we're heading back to the heady days of 2001; the first Harry Potter film came out, Britney and Justin were still a thing, and you were probably somewhere knee deep in various amalgamations of SATs which, as suspected, would turn out to be absolutely no use to your adult life whatsoever.
At least the music was good though. This week's top ten from 2001 featured Atomic Kitten (sans Kerry sadly) belting out *Whole Again *while sporting metallic eyeshadow and one shouldered lyrca vest tops, what might (controversially so) be The Backstreet Boys' most accomplished song The Call and BBMak(!) and Back Here.
For all the girls rocking Punky Fish trousers though, there's also Papa Roach, Wheatus and the erstwhile gods of nu-metal, Limp Bizkit with Rollin'; the song that inspired some of my more questionable sartorial choices (baggy jeans, red cap and a white vest? Just call Fred Durst 2001's fashion icon).
Also, check out Debelah Morgan *Dance With Me; *you won't remember the name but by gum you'll remember the song.
Happy weekending!
