This weekend the festival season really kicked off with the Isle Of Wight playing host to 58,000 sweaty revellers, Jessie Ware, Fleetwood Mac and Blur to name but a few.

Backstage was the lovely Ella Eyre, who'd only found out she was performing the night before. While she was hanging with Samuel L. Jackson at The Roundhouse, in fact. 'He’s such a cool dude and he’s exactly how you imagine him to be,' she says.

Does she get starstruck meeting massive celebs? 'Not necessarily. Although I have a little internal ‘wee!’ inside!'

Ella's a big festival fan, although camping isn't her favourite thing. 'Just being in a tent in general,' she says when asked about her least favourite camping memory. 'I used to love the camping experience; no showers, shit water,' but she's grown out of it now. So what was her worst ever camping memory? 'Glastonbury 2010. It was the hottest Glasto ever. It was unbearable terms of heat and tents aren’t great in terms of shade!'
