Got Fashion Week FOMO? Well, here’s one way to get you in the mood – blasting some songs that have been at all the Fashion Week parties so far around your living room as you're getting ready to go out today.

And who better to provide them than model and DJ, Chelsea Leyland. The British born, Brooklyn based DJ is all over our radar, DJing for every major fashion brand – from Chanel to Burberry to Topshop. And with her rock meets girlie, vintage-infused aesthetic, she knows a thing or two about dressing up for the dance floor, as well.

‘Wear shoes that aren’t too uncomfortable to dance in, but something that also makes you feel confident,’ she tells *The Debrief *of her dance-floor necessities. Which sounds sensible to us.

Chelsea, who’s already DJ-ed for the amazing faux fur brand Shrimps this London Fashion Week, says she’s looking forward to seeing her friends – think everyone from Alexa Chung to her partner in crime stylist Kate Foley – hit the dance floor. ‘Basically, anyone that doesn’t feel like they are “too cool” to dance. Without a doubt, my friends.’

But whilst Chelsea is unashamed about the best bits about Fashion Week – ‘It’s pretty amazing to be able to wear such beautiful clothes, especially the ones you wouldn’t dream would be able to buy’ – she’s also got a great answer for what’s the worst. ‘The egocentric, bitchy fashion people.’

See? We told you this was a girl you should get on board with.

Here’s her playlist to fake it like you’re at Fashion Week!

1. Victim – Mother

‘Mother is my friend Jimmy’s new band. Not only do I love their music videos, but I also think this song is a great track to open with.’

2. New Dorp. New York – SBTRKT ft Ezra Koenig

‘This is a really fun new track with a really great beat, also a great one to play during NYFW, seeing as it just came out a few weeks before.’

3. 0 To 100 – Drake

‘I think this is a good track to start the party with; it’s got a really sexy vibe and is definitely a crowd pleaser – everyone loves Drake.’

4. Jimmy Franco – Lolawolf

‘Although this track is quite mellow, I think it’s really unique. It’s got a contemporary sound and works well for runway mixes.’

5. Type of Way – Rich Homie Quan

‘This has got a sexy feel to it and a really great beat. It works well at the beginning of a hip-hop set.’

6. Our Love – Caribou

‘This is a great track to play at a more mellow fashion event. I also used this recently for a runway mix. I like that it has a dark energy to it mixed with some ’80s sounds – it creates the perfect juxtaposition against the more contemporary production.’

7. Signs – Freestylers

‘I love the reggae vibes to this track; it’s a great new song to get people moving.’

8. All Under One Roof Raving - Jamie xx

‘I love playing this during NYFW as it has a really British feel to me – it has a great intro that feels very London. As always, I love Jamie’s use of instrumental sounds laid onto the electronic beat.’
