There’s A New Beyoncé Video Out In The World

Are you ready to feel all the feels? Brace yourself because Beyoncé has released a new video and you’re probably not ready for it.

Yesterday, 4th April 2017, marked the nine-year anniversary of the biggest couple in the game. Yep, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles and Shawn Corey Carter (aka Jay Z) tied the knot just short of a decade ago. Oh, how time flies.

To celebrate, Beyoncé released the most 'OMG how #adorable' video to a very romantically emotional song Die With You. She originally released the song on their anniversary two years ago, but this time there’s another one of those home movie montages to go with it. And if you follow Beyoncé at all, you’ll be aware that she loves a cheeky little montage.

The video starts with Beyoncé playing the piano, singing Die With You to Jay, who is behind the camera filming. Then it takes us on the journey that we know so well. Jay and Bey get engaged, they get married (yep there’s, actually footage from their IRL wedding in this one, folks), they have baby Blue Ivy right up to Beyoncé being pregnant with twins. Throw in a few family birthdays, holidays and lots of the two of them generally being hopelessly in love, and you’ve got yourself a tear jerker.

Obvs, the full video is only available on Tidal. So, if your 30-day free trial hasn’t run out yet you can catch it over here. If not, don’t worry. Bey shared a teaser video on Instagram which should keep the Beyhive at bay for a little while.

Over on Tidal though, there’s also a special playlist too! It’s called IV EVER EVER (as in, like, longer than four-ever. Get it?) and it’s 63 songs long which adds up to more than four hours of lovey dovey listening. Some of the greats such as Prince, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Nina Simone feature in the list, as does close(ish) pal Kanye West.

It’s not without a few rogue selections, though. Definitely didn’t see the two Robin Thicke tracks coming. Don’t worry, Blurred Lines isn’t there. Bey chose Lost Without U and Teach U a Lesson. New school hit makers like Drake and Frank Ocean also get the honour of featuring on the playlist, which is rather nice. I hope they're all pals.

VI EVER EVER is of course only available on Tidal, but I’ve been listening to it as I write this article and it’s put me in a better mood than I thought a list of dedicated songs about a relationship that I’m not in could make me. The power of Beyoncé, eh?
