What to do when you don't know what to do.
1. The National Pet Show
It's wildly important you get yourself to this. Wildly.
This annual event, held in London's ExCel Centre and Birmingham's NEC (that's not until November though, sorry midlanders) is everything you ever wanted in an event. Packed with celebs from the animal world (both human and animal) and lots of talks, workshops, displays and shopping opportunities. They also promise a 'a wonderful performance to the Lion King by Nimbus the American Miniature Horse with Jack Russells Jack, Jacob and Jessica.' WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE. Tickets are only £18 although I think we're all agreed you can't put a price on a horse and some Jack Russells performing the Lion King.

2. Brighton Fringe Festival
Probably the best way to celebrate all the weird and wonderful things about Brighton and beyond. Across the month this festival is on, there's over 900 things to see from comedy to cabaret, theatre to music, exhibition to film, dance to art. There's a fireworks show kicking it all off on Friday a 9. Most stuff is either free or under a tenner.
Brighton Fringe Festival, 6th May- 5th June. Get full line up here.
3. Get crafty at London Craft Week
This is actually going on all week (as the name implies, obvs) but it's a chance to see some of London's more talented craftsmen show off their wares and gives you a chance to get in on the action too. On display is Mulberry's new leather capsule collection, open studios, demonstrations of glass blowing, watch making and jewellery making. Plus there's chances for you to try out perfume mixing, book binding, candle making and more. Many events are free.

4. Green Film Festival
With screenings all over the UK, this film festival is one to make you think. Each film is 'green thinking' and collectively they cover topics like extinction, over population, Deepwater Horizon, and food waste. Prices differ across the country but the most expensive ticket is £11.50.

5. Binge-watch Grace & Frankie
Honestly. If you didn't watch season 1, do it now. It'll become your favourite show to watch when you're sad ever. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are the bad ass grandmas who are forced to live with each other when their husbands, who are business partners, finally admit that they've *been more *thank business partners for the past several years. Nopw, Grace and Frankie have to learn how to be single again in their 70s, as well as supporting their ex-husbands as they learn to be openly gay, as well as supporting their kids - all of whom are highly dysfunctional.
Grace & Frankie, season 2, on Netflix from May 6th.
