1. Get Inspired at Girls Music Day
Because it was literally *just *International Womens' Day (woop! Up with excellent women and that sort of thing), there's still plenty going on this weekend that you can do to celebrate. Check out the first Girls Music Day that's happening in London's Shoreditch on Saturday 12th of March. Hosted by Dice magazine, it's FREE (always a good shout) and has live music sessions (from female artists obvs) in the morning and talks in the afternoon from people like Clara Amfo and Lauren Aquilina.

2. Eat Well At Cin Cin Supper Club
Looking for a fancy dining experience to splash your cash on? Supper clubs are big news and are only getting bigger. Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton is hosting the first in a new series of supper clubs from Cin Cin, an Italian street food experience that normally tout their wares in pop-ups and food fairs. Tickets are £39, so it's not the cheapest but that includes some drinks so it probably all equals out in the end.

3. Laugh Your Knickers Off At Kathbum
The jolly excellent Katherine Ryan has one last day on her tour before taking a month-long break this Friday in Manchester. Kathbum (her show, not her behind), was the tits at Edinburgh Festival with a healthy bunch of five star reviews under it's belt. It covers everything from Peter Andre to Cheryl Cole to Bill Cosby to Cecil the Lion.

4. Get Feminist At Dangerous Women
Because how else better to celebrate International Women's Day than by spending a whole day (free of charge) listening to awesome stories about amazing women delivered by a series of brilliant ladies in Edinburgh? Presented by the Institute of the Advanced Studies of Humanities and Scottish PEN - a writers' association - it's an all day thing to 'explore in fiction and fact women identified as dangerous--creatively, socially and politically.'

5. Buy Some Artwork That Might Be Worth Something One Day
The Affordable Art Fair is back in London's Battersea and give people like you (well, people with slightly more money that you) the chance to own original artworks. Showcasing new and exciting artists, the fair sells their work from £100-£5000. Alternatively you could just go and have a look around. There's a Bowie tribute this year which looks worth a punt.
