Not content with just one extravagant and boujee no expense spared New York baby shower with her best friends before her baby with Prince Harry arrives, Meghan Markle is reportedly planning a second – and much more chill – affair back in the UK in the next few weeks.
And it looks like the Duchess, who seems to have quietly began her maternity leave as she has no upcoming public engagements scheduled in the near future (only private ones), is keen to include those who were notably absent from her New York shindig.
Yes, we're looking at you, Kate Middleton.
There was a huge deal made out of the fact that Kate was a no show at her sister-in-law's bash, with some suggesting that she swerved it because Meghan is technically breaking a royal protocol by having a baby shower.
It also could have been due to Kate enjoying a secret ski trip with husband Prince William and George, Charlotte and Louis.

According to Mail on Sunday, Meghan's beloved mum Doria will be flying in so she can help her daughter organise the event, that was originally planned to be held at her and Harry's new abode, Frogmore Cottage but had to be delayed because of renovation work.
“Doria is coming to a baby shower here. It will be a small gathering of five or six people,” a source told the publication.
Another royal source revealed more details, telling Us Weekly that Kate will have a role in the proceedings.
“There is still going to be some sort of private baby-centric event for Meghan’s UK people, and Kate will host," they explained.
“Her glam people and other relatives will be there. Not sure if it’s a total baby ‘shower,’ but you could probably call it that.”
There's rumours that Victoria Beckham is also on the guest list, and other young royals like Eugenie.
Majesty Magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward reckons that even though her first shower included chartering private jets, an in-house harpist and Hollywood royalty, Meghan will hold her second bash away from the public eye.
She told The Sun: "Americans love to do things in hotels and restaurants, but the Brits like to do things at home.
"The minute they go to a public place it’ll cause such a furore. They don’t have to be that extravagant.
"She could rustle up some cupcakes and a couple of bottles of champagne. It doesn’t have to be on that scale."
See, Meg can do both!
