It's official, Livia Giuggioli and Colin Firth are the friendliest exes in Hollywood history. Last night, the pair hosted a film screening together despite recently ending their marriage. Livia and Colin were photographed looking friendly at London's Soho Hotel before a viewing of The Great Hack - a new documentary about the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal.

It's not the first time that the pair have been seen out together. They welcomed the New Year with a group of friends, and uploaded a photograph which showed Livia and Colin with their arms around each other.

Last month, their reps confirmed the split, saying, ‘Colin and Livia Firth have separated. They maintain a close friendship and remain united in their love for their children. They kindly ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.’ Colin, Oscar-winning star of The King's Speech, married Livia in 1997 and have two sons.

Colin and Livia made headlines in March 2018 when she admitted to having an affair with an Italian journalist named Marco Brancaccia while she and Colin were separated between 2015 and 2016.

This came after Giuggioli accused the Italian journalist of harassing her with 'frightening' messages. The police investigated, but the man in question – Brancaccia – denied the accusation and told The Times that she was lying to hide their relationship. In the end, Giuggioli confirmed the relationship. At the time, their rep told The Times: ‘A few years ago, Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate. During that time, Livia briefly became involved with former friend Mr. Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited.’

The statement continued, ‘Subsequently, Mr. Brancaccia carried out a frightening campaign of harassment over several months, much of which is documented. For obvious reasons, the Firths have never had any desire to make this matter public.’

Brancaccia denied this, telling The Times, ‘I wrote an email to Colin about my relationship with Livia, which I now regret sending, and she filed a complaint against me for stalking out of fear that I could go public with what she had revealed to me about her marriage and work.’
