It’s the moment we all had an inkling was on its way, and last night Travis Barkerand Kourtney Kardashian made their dreams and ours come true when they got engaged. The Blink 182 drummer and the reality star shared the news on Instagram in typically OTT style, sharing an image of the lavish engagement, which saw the couple standing in a huge ring of red roses on a beach at what has been reported to be a 5 star beach resort in Montecito, California. Kourtney captioned the image, 'forever'.
Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian left a series of engagement ring emojis under her sister’s social media post and later tweeted a video of the couple together. The Twitter post included a close-up of Kardashian’s ring.
Kim wasn’t the only family member present. E! News reported that Khloe Kardashian and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson were also present when the proposal took place.
Travis’s daughter Alabama Barker also shared images from the night, including one of Kourntey smiling and showing off her ring.
It’s been a whirlwind nine months since the pair began dating, with their relationship taking them from Venice to Paris, to Disneyland and New York, with an OTT PDA in every city. Kourtney is the ‘happiest’ she’s ever been, according to sources, and she and Travis have told friends they are ‘soul mates’. Now, has anyone checked on Scott Disick?!
