Is Bobby Brazier the next David Gandy? He’s the son of the late Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, and last week made his catwalk debut during Milan Fashion Week. The 16-year-old, who walked for Dolce and Gabbana at Teatro Metropol, wore the autumn/winter 2020 collection, including an oversized cord jacket and trousers and a shirt embossed with Dolce and Gabbana’s logo.

The model uploaded an excitable Instagram post, which read 'Six months ago I said give me three years I’ll be doing fashion week,' he wrote. 'Thank you @dolcegabbana ! Dream come true tonight, I’m buzzin ! [sic]'

Bobby was signed to the Unsigned Group agency in October, after turning down a few eager agencies. His first modelling gig was in Male Model Scene, where he wore a Balenciaga coat.

'Modelling has been great fun, I’m loving it: you get a chance to do something exciting,' he told the Daily Mail in December. 'I’m modelling alongside my apprenticeship; I’m not sure if it will be full time yet, we will have to see how it goes!'

He added: '‘I’m going to Paris and Milan with my agent Cesar in January – it’s going to be a great experience.'

Bobby was just six years old when his mother Jade Goody died of cervical cancer on Mother's Day in 2009. Freddie, his younger brother, was only five. Jade, a TV personality who appeared on Big Brother in 2002, campaigned for greater awareness of cervical cancer after she was diagnosed with the disease in 2008. She became famous for encouraging women to undertake smear tests, which became known as ‘The Jade Goody Effect' and has saved countless lives.

NHS data revealed that 12% of women between the ages of 25 and 64 were seeking advice on the disease, while there was a significant leap (half a million) in women booking smear tests.
