Warning, this is not a drill. The stunning Italian home from the much-anticipated film Lady Gaga’s Acting Process For House Of Gucci Is Super IntenseHouse of Gucci is now on Airbnb. As of yesterday, the property has been listed on the home-sharing website... and it's ready for bookings! While the owners are only allowing stays during a brief time in March, the luxury and decadence of the house - and its gorgeous surroundings - make this pretty exciting news.

House of Gucci follows and Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and his socialite ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) through their marriage, divorce and Maurizio’s eventual murder at the hands of Reggiani. But between the relationships, fallouts and killings, the film - and the real people portrayed - are the embodiment of high fashion and luxury. And they spend a lot of time with Aldo Gucci - portrayed by Al Pacino - who was known for flashy parties at his huge, beautiful home. Where better to encapsulate this than a stunning manor by a huge body of water located at the foot of the Alps?

The house, which is actually called Villa Balbiano, is described as ‘the height of 90s Italian opulence,’ making the perfect setting to capture their lavish lives.

The listing describes the property as ‘one of the largest private residences on Lake Como’ and features six lavish suites and extravagant gardens, ‘distinguished by the British Society of Garden Designers.’

The description of the house reads ‘Villa Balbiano is an exceptional historical palazzo that once belonged to the famous Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, who built it at the end of the 16th century and used it as his main residence. A century later, it was enlarged and embellished by Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini who used the Villa to host a gallant and frivolous society where festivals, banquets and dances followed one another relentlessly.’

Now, Villa Balbiano filled with finest objets d’art and furniture of past centuries, sourced from Sotheby’s and Christie’s and the listing promises ‘a night to remember’ with 'breathtaking views overlooking Lake Como', 'lavish surroundings' and 'opulent marble bathrooms' - proving guests will have an unmatched experience of 'elegant luxury.'

To celebrate the release of House of Gucci, the host for the Airbnb is offering a special, one-night stay, available on Airbnb on 30th March 2022, for one guest and a plus one to spend a night in the master suite, with access to Villa Balbiano’s amenities including the first four floors (yep, it has more than four floors!) of the home, the outdoor swimming pool, private pier and even the boathouse.

But you’ll have to save some pennies and maybe have a search under the sofa for lost coins and this stay will cost a whopping 1,000 euros for the night. If you’re feeling luxurious, bookings for this one-night stay open on Monday, 6th December at 5 pm. Set your alarm!
