It's a great start to April, as Harry Styles - everyone's favourite boybander turned rockstar - is back. Finally, after what feels like way too long, Harry is back in the public eye, and on the promo trail, for his new album, Harry's House, which is out on May 20. And he's just blessed us with a high-tempo new single, As It Was. Though a voice at the start of the track has everybody talking.

Before Harry gets into the track, a child says: 'Come on Harry, we want to say goodnight to you.' And, sweetly, everyone's just discovered that the child is in fact Harry's goddaughter. .

Harry confirmed who the voice belonged to this morning, speaking to Capital. 'It’s the voice of my goddaughter, she used to try and call me before bedtime every night and one time it didn’t ring or something so they sent me that,' he said. 'I dug it out when we were in the studio and put it in front of the song for some reason and I kind of just fell in love with it so it stuck.' (Could Harry get any more angelic, please?)

Who is Harry Styles goddaughter?

Good question. Well, Harry's goddaughter is five-year-old Ruby Winston. Fans have even found a photo of Harry holding Ruby - who was born in 2017 - as he recorded his debut solo album.

So, who are Ruby's parents? Ruby is the daughter of TV producer Ben Winston and his wife Meredith. You might not recognise Ben, but you'll definitely be familiar with his work as he is the man behind some of pop-cultures biggest moments, like ITV's An Audience With Adele{ =nofollow}and James Corden's The Late, Late Show (and the Carpool Karaoke segment).

Ben and Harry became really good mates when Haz was in One Direction, as Ben's production company regularly worked with the band{ =nofollow}. In fact, they were so close Harry even lived in Ben's attic for 20 months. (That inspired the CBS sitcom Happy Together, created by Ben, which followed a popstar living with a young couple.)
