According to exit polls, Labour is set to form the new UK government following the 2024 general election and Sir Keir Starmer is going to be our new Prime Minister. Millions of voters have not only decided who gets to be one of the 650 MPs in the next Parliament, but who gets to be the Prime Minister overseeing it all. It's the first time Rishi Sunak has faced a public vote and, if exit polls are to be believed - they've been more or less spot on for the last few elections - the first time he's lost.

Elsewhere, the Lib Dems are set to get 61 seats, the SNP are on 10, Plaid Cymru and Green have got 2 apiece - with one, their co-leader Carla Denyer, likely ousting Labour's shadow culture secretary Thangam Debonnaire - and in perhaps one of the only shocks of the night, Reform look expected get 13 seats, up from just one before.
