The waiting’s over chaps! Thinking Out Loud, The Debrief’s utterly fabulous (if we do say so ourselves) web series that involves four girls, a lot of tea, a sofa, and some very serious attempts to put the world to rights is back, bringing with it a whole host of opinions from girls like you on some very important matters*.
*Some matters aren’t very important, but they are very funny.
This time around we’ve got four very excellent girls on the line up. They are: Gemma Cairney, Radio 1 and telly presenter, plus co-creator of The Fox Problem; Mae Martin, the very funny Candian comedian whose musings on fingering you might remember from last series; Sofie Hagen, the comedian who you probably came across in back in September when she penned this very excellent piece on weight shaming and *The Debrief’*s very own Stevie Martin, because when she’s not doing non-naffbeauty Vines for the website, she spends her time in a comedy troupe called Massive Dad who got four stars in Time Out at Edinburgh and the future of comedy by The Independent. So NBD then.
Anyways, in this very special Christmas edition of Thinking Out Loud, we got the girls dressed to the nines in some very fancy Beyond Retro Christmas jumpers (look carefully at Mae’s for a demonstration on what every Christmas jumper from now on should be like), and asked them about what goes on for them at Christmas. From handcrafted Harry Potter Elder Wands, to dealing with The Vortex (that confusing time between Christmas and New Year), to erm, pissing in public like an absolute boss.
Enjoy!
