The Film Version Of Gossip Girl - Great Expectations
No not THAT one. This version of Charles Dickens' novel is the cool one from 1998 that was set in New York with Ethan Hawke and Gwyneth Paltrow. He’s a painter, funded by an anonymous benefactor, and she's the snotty rich girl from his childhood that he’s in love with. And ZOMG, her Upper East Side 90’s wardrobe? The whole thing’s a strappy, backless, satin-y dream. All that's missing is a pair of hair chopsticks.
