She's a TV presenter, food writer and bonafide Girl Who's Clothes We Want To Pinch Right Now Please, Laura Jackson is most definitely having a moment. And, seeing as we spent most of last week listening to T_he Very Best Of Whitney Houston_, we decided it might be time to update our playlists, so we asked Laura for a few suggestions.

Sugarcubes – Hit

I love Bjork and love her voice on this track, this is one of my all-time favourites.

Phoenix – If I Ever Feel Better.

I've loved Phoenix since their first album, this song has so many memories, but will always make me think of my friends Meg and Rob.

Joubert Singers – Stand On The Word

This is a belter, it gets any party going and just reminds me of have the best time with friends, especially at Erica's 30th...

X-Ray Spex – Germ Free Adolescents

This reminds me of being sat outside in the summer. I'd not heard it for ages then Kathy Burke played it on 6 Music –such a great song.
