When should the Christmas decorations go up this year?
Straight after the Halloween decorations come down and the house looks bare?
Straight after the Prime Minister announces a second national lockdown and you need SOMETHING, ANYTHING to cheer you up?
Or when Christmas 2020 looks in doubt as you'd planned, and you just need to start the cheer lest it doesn't come later.
Whatever your choice, here at Grazia, when it comes to the question of when should the Christmas decorations go up this year, we are VERY open minded.
That's why we aren't judging the likes of Tan France, January Jones, Stacey Solomon and (of course) Mariah Carey, who posted on social media this weekend that November 1 is officially Christmas season.
And if it's decorated Christmas trees you're after, we've got a treat for you. The best Christmas Tree decorations and baubles of 2020 - and the six trends you should follow if you should be looking for some inspiration.
Let's face it, we're going to be working from home and looking at these trees more than ever, they might as well look stylish.

And when it comes to the best Christmas baubles of 2020, there's plenty to pick from - John Lewis opened its Christmas Shop earlier than usual – in August! - due to popular demand and many other stores from Liberty to online retailers Rockett St George and Trouva have also begun selling Christmas cheer.
Ever-changing Covid restrictions means no-one quite knows how many of us can celebrate together on the day, but one thing that's guaranteed is a super-fabulous Christmas tree. How do you fancy decorating yours? Here are the top six trends to inspire you...
Colourful and kitsch baubles
A tree that's all about fun and ultra bright colour and this year, a way to give an ironic nod to all the craziness. Iconic figures are always a big part of this trend with long-time favourites including Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld; Ruth Bader Ginsburg is bound to be big this year too. New for this Christmas is the Girl with the Pearl Earring and 2020 must-haves include the Pop Art rainbow, sewing machine and, of course, a bottle of hand sanitiser. Combine them with plain bright baubles and multicoloured lights and top it all off with an enormous neon star.

Nature / woodland baubles
The complete antithesis to the kitsch tree is the one that celebrates the great outdoors. A look that has been growing in popularity, this year, with our re-found appreciation of a head-clearing ramble, it's a major trend. Think oak leaves, acorns, clip on birds, mushrooms and leafy garlands. Get into the handmade - tie cinnamon sticks with string and dry orange and lemon slices for a lovely scent. Oh, and of course, a real tree is the perfect match.

Jewel colours are having an interiors moment and you can also find them on the best-dressed Christmas trees - team them with accents of gold to create an elegantly luxurious look. Art deco is a strong design theme here along with sculptural shapes. Don't stint on lights and a lovely gold star is a lovely finishing touch although the richness of this tree means it works just as well without.

The Scandi trend has helped make it modern - combine white with silver and clear glass and add soft texture for a warmth. Opt for dainty lights that pick up the silver for extra sparkle.

Craft
With so many of us taking up new hobbies during lockdown, the love of craft and the home-made has become a thing. Keep the mood with a tree that's decorated in hand-made-style decorations made from materials such as macrame, wood and beads. It's a mixed up look that's not polished – but that's just the way it should be.
