Hoxton Hotels and Soho House have cracked their heads together and come up with another rocking restaurant, Egg Break. It’s is all egg focused, nach, with meaty buns, avocado on toast and fancier dishes like a lip smackingly good carbonara.

I love the laid back vibe at Pizza East Portobello – it reminds me of The Hamptons. And just in time for summer, they have revamped their menu with delicious dishes like salmon quinoa, burrata with tomato and delicate seabass carpaccio.
SATURDAY MARKET OF THE WEEK: Druid Street Market
Fabulous foodie Miranda York has launched a new street market in Bermondsey, with a focus on local business and community. With a stellar line up, including Lardo, Blu top ice cream sandwiches and pop ups from Rosie Birkett and Elly Cursen, you know where I’m going to be this Saturday.
COOKERY CLASS OF THE WEEK: Turner and George at Meatopia
Budding butchers will be taught how to cut, trim and prepare a whole fore-rib rare-breed joint, as East London butchers Turner and George are popping up at Meatopia this summer. Tickets are priced at £175, and classes run for around about an hour and a half at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
COOKBOOK OF THE WEEK: Chris Kitch
This book is backed full of sexy summer salads, simple suppers and decadent deserts. It’s hard to chose a favourite, but if I had to go with anything it would be Chris’s Thai roasted beef with a zingy pomello salad – well done!
