DELICIOUSLY ELLA

Ella Woodward’s blog is an ode to good food that’s free from gluten, dairy, sugar, meat and all refined and processed ingredients. Ella started the blog as a way of dealing with a relatively rare illness, Postural Tachycardia Syndrome, which she was diagnosed with in September 2011. Improving her poor diet had amazing results on her health, and all but cured her condition, and all the recipes she publishes are not only health-boosting, but delicious. Hence the blog name! Try her latest dish Apple, Pear Avocado and Spinach smoothie, below.

GREEN KITCHEN STORIES

Husband and wife David and Luise are all about vegetarian food and recipes that incorporate organic and whole food ingredients as well as good fats, fruit and vegetables. David is an art director by day (and takes great food photographs for the blog), Luise is training to be a Nutritional Therapist. Their recipes are proper inspiration for anyone looking to cook something super-nutritious for their supper tonight. Or breakfast tomorrow morning - we rather like the sound of their Raw Cashewgurt Bowl, below.

SPROUTED KITCHEN

If you’re craving for a burger (albeit a healthy one), couple Sara and Hugh Forte’s blog the Sprouted Kitchen is for you. We like the look of the Cheeseburger, but this week can’t decide between the Kale Omelette and this Autumn Salad with Horseradish Vinaigrette(pictured below). Yum!

**KEEPING HEALTHY GETTING STYLISH

Durham-born Laura is a health coach by day, blogger by night. Her healthy eating epiphany came when she lost almost four stone in one year. She writes about her experiments with new recipes, her fitness regime and her shopping sprees - all done on a budget. Her first post this year features some sensible advice, like the importance of eating good fats such as avocado and coconut oil, as well as some rather tasty-sounding menu suggestions such as this Porridge with Pear, Walnuts and Goji Berries, below.**

HEMSLEY AND HEMSLEY

Hip sisters Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley of Hemsley + Hemsley cook for celebrities and clients all over the world. Their mission is to create super-healthy food; whole, organic, nutrient filled, delicious homemade dishes that are free from grain, gluten, high starch and refined sugar. Their blog is a smorgasbord of healthy eating inspiration, like this Beetroot and Black Quinoa Salad, pictured below.

THE BLACK PEARL

26 year old Sandra from the blog Black Pearl blogs about beauty, fashion, and health eating. Although not a trained nutritionist, her mantra is all about ‘eating clean’, aka following a safe sensible diet and cooking healthy recipes that steer clear of processed carbs and other nasties.
