**My Teen Make-Up Inspo: **

During a spot of shoot prep I discovered this to-die-for picture of a young Kate Moss and it reminded me how much I copied her look growing up as a teenager - as you can see from an early driving license picture. This particular photo was taken back in my makeup hey day, with those dark brown or purple pouty lips, loads of eye liner (great for creating that moody teenage stare) and I’d even gone so far as dying my hair darker to get that full early Kate Moss effect. MAC Lip Liner in Spice, Rimmel Lipstick in Heather Shimmer and The Body Shop Lip Gloss as well as Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (which wasn’t even available in the UK at the time) were my teen makeup weapons of choice…

**Herbing It Up: **

I’m slowly cultivating a herb garden to rival that of any sustainable restaurant. The more I learn about the health benefits of incorporating herbs and herbal tinctures into your diet the more I want to plant in my garden. Right now I’m picking my own rosemary to cook with - it’s known for being rich in calcium and B6 and when dropped into your bath the aroma is proven to boost memory function and lift the mood. Every morning I pick fresh mint from my garden and put it in a cup of hot water for a fresh mint tea (great for kick-starting the digestive system first thing), lavender by your bed can’t fail to make you fall asleep. I also find crushing it and adding it to a few drop of face oil makes for a calming bedtime pampering treatment.

Ballet Beautiful

Bikini season is just around the corner so I’m turbo-charging my fitness regime with a couple of short, sharp sessions of Ballet Beautiful work outs. The workout is ballet inspired and involves high rep regimes incorporating classic moves. Think Swan Lake arms (looks graceful but hurts like hell), plies as well as lots of core work which give you long, lean but very toned body. I’m two sessions in and am already seeing a difference particularly on my arms. Try these three power Ballet Beautiful sessions and start with your core, then do your arms and then move to leg and bottom work out…
