In case you missed it, Karlie Kloss has been busy getting her groove on recently. In an Inez and Vinoodh-directed musical masterpiece (the duo behind many a fashion campaign - Tom Ford's a fan), Karlie bopped, jived and did some seriously sultry rolling around on the floor in Chic’s video for their ‘I’ll Be There’ single. And sure, we loved the Versace jumpsuit number, and the funky music, but what’s really stayed with us is Karlie’s enviable, strong, lean physique. Karlie certainly gives epitomises the expression ‘Strong, not skinny.’

Bearing in mind that Karlie’s a very smart cookie (or perhaps we should say Kookie, like her eponymous home-made cookie business, Karlie’s Kookies), who recently announced that she would be hanging up her Victoria’s Secret wings in order to focus on her studies, we’re not sure how she finds time to squeeze in so many workouts. A quick glance at her Instagram however, shows that this gal is keen on all sort of exercise from running, pounding the pavements between Fashion Week shows to resistance training to strengthen her core. In fact, Karlie smashed the Paris Half Marathon this year and completed in under two hours. Go, girl.

Karlie favours a mix of strengthening exercises with small weights or her own body weight, like lunges and leg lifts, as well as teaming up with pals for some ab crunches with the added challenge of a medicine ball. Add in some press ups on a Swiss ball and you’ve got a pretty holistic routine that targets the whole body to give Karlie her lean, mean physique. And of course, Karlie’s not immune to the current fever for boxing – she’s been known to step into the ring to throw a few punches like most of her model chums. Whatever Karlie’s doing, it sure is working – you could bounce a coin off that tum. Check out the video in all it's glory here...
