Indian Kitchen Cookbook
The first book from Indian chef Maunika Gowardhan is a stunner! Light and breezy recipes sit alongside rich Indian classics that will get you drooling as soon as you see the cover, and her Tadka Dal rocks!
The Croque Madame at Vinoteca
This is officially my favourite brunch dish right now. A vast amount of cheese, topped with an egg covers this mega croque madame from Vinoteca, with just the right kick of mustard to cut through the richness. Photo from @SymmetryBreakfast.
Lamb Burgers at Tom's Feast
The Natural Chef, Tom Hunt, is having quite a year. He is opening his second restaurant in East London this summer and has taken over Dalston Roof Park for a cheeky pop up - the juicy lamb burger is a thing of beauty... I cannot recommend it enough.
**Yaugara cashaca **
Caipirinha is one of my favourite cocktails. The Brazilian beauty is made with lime juice, dark sugar and a spirit called cachaca, which has always been very hard to source in the UK. However, Brazilian brand Yaugara have just launched their incredible small batch artisanal cachaca, so get muddling and enjoy.
**The House of Peroni **
Bringing a touch of Italian-chic to east London, The House of Peroni will be opening La Piazza this week on Brick Lane, with alfresco dining, decadent drinks and art installations.
