Beyonce’s Latest Business Venture? Vegan Meals To Your Door

What's next for a woman who arguably controls the music industry, sells more magazines when she's on the cover than you can shake a stick at and frequently turns her fans into squealing mush when she touches them at concerts? Start a meal delivery service, of course. But Beyonce's not just launching any old meal service - it's a VEGAN meal service.

You may remember back in 2013, Bey and hubby Jay-Z embarked on a twenty two day vegan challenge, wherein they shirked filet mignon and ate unidentifibale bowls of good-for-you slop, and caused a stir when Bey wore fur to a vegan cafe. Much fun was had by all. Clearly, the challenge left a mark on Beyonce, who's so convinced by the health benefits of veganism that her and her trainer, Marco Borges have started the scheme together. The plan is called 22 Days Nutrition, based on the idea it takes twenty one days to break bad eating habits, and will have one, two or three meals delivered to your door every day.

Loviza Nilsson, in-house nutritionist at health and fitness app Lifesum, told us "Many vegans have noticed physical changes such as weight loss, healthy skin and better hair and nail health. This is most likely due to the high content of vitamins and minerals that they consume every day."

Borges said of the plan "We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness. The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods." We say it sounds a lot yummier than anything Gwyneth Paltrow-sponsored, with dishes like vanilla chia pudding, raw brownie bits and sweet potatoes. Hey, if it's good enough for Bey!
