Wine Condoms Exist But They're Not What You Think

This is a sentence I never thought I would say: wine condoms are a legit thing. There, I said it. Now let the questions begin. First, why on earth would I need a wine condom? You know when you’ve had three glasses of wine before heading out and you accidently spill red all down yourself? That is why you need a wine condom. If you had a wine condom you could have prevented that incident and you wouldn't have to change out of your new outfit, would you?

The wine condom is basically a bottle stopper. You roll it down over the over the neck of your wine bottle (ew) and hey presto, no unfortunate wine stains.

Second question? How the hell does that work?! It uses shrink-to-fit technology that means the one size fits all creates a water-tight seal around the bottle neck. According to The Guardian they are 99.9 effective at preventing unwanted spillages, we’ll take that.

Second question, where can I buy this weird but also wonderful device? You can pre order your wine condom here for a handy price of £12.99. They will be sent to your door in regular condom packaging but please do not mistake it for actual condoms because that would be extremely silly.

You can also use them for other beverages, such as gin bottles, prosecco bottles and whatever else you’re drinking. Now here’s another sentence I never thought I would say: I want a wine condom.
