UberEATS, Uber's Food Delivery Service, Is Officially Happening

Lazy people of the world rejoice. Your lives just got a whole lot easier. Uber, the infamous taxi service for when you get too drunk to take the nightbus home, have now got your hangover covered too with UberEATS; the taxi firm's foray into home food delivery.

A slight disclaimer before you get too excited. UberEATS is currently only available in Chicago, LA, New York City and Barcelona but, with the company expanding recently to Newcastle and Leeds, it can only be a matter of time before this magnificent service works it's way over to the UK.

So, how does it work? Well, bascially, you head on to the UberEATS app, pick what you want from a list of curated restaurants, and your meal is with with you in TEN MINUTES. TEN DAMN MINUTES. That is faster than if you tried to cook something from your cupboard and a whole lifetime quicker than it would take you to roll out of your sweaty bed, pull a jumper over your greasy head, waddle to the nearest shop, purchase a coherent narrative of food items and create some sort of dish that's going to soothe your hungover body.

You know when people get all freaked out about robots and technology taking over the world? Welp, if this is the sort of shit they're going to do then BRING IT ON.
