Food prep is one of those subtle indicators of adulthood. It suggests a certain togetherness that, still feels far away from my too-frequently hungover existence. But it can't hurt to give it ago. Especially when the end result is a delicious breakfast ready and waiting for you as soon as you wake up - minimum morning consciousness required.
Granted, what we've got here requires a little more effort the night before, but as soon as the beauty of not having to rush to pick up a deeply unsatisfying stale croissant from the cafe across from your office settles in, your breakfast game will change forever.
