October 19th celebrates what is most possibly one of our favourite days of the year - International Gin and Tonic day. Our love for G&T knows no bounds - it's that drink that's seen us through many a breakup and get-together with the girls. And recently, we've discovered the perfect London dry gin - the Savile Row Gin Perfect Serve - which elevates and enhances the smooth flavour profile of gin. Not just that, but David Gandy is the ambassador and also an investor in the spirit, so from that alone we've devised that it must indeed taste delicious.

If you're hosting a dinner party (or just fancy making a fancy G&T for yourself on a cosy evening in), then we've whipped up the perfect drinks recipe for you. 🍸

This sophisticated take on the drink marries pink grapefruit flavour with the unique signature botanical that's at the heart of Savile Row Gin - kumquats. The mint lifts the finished flavour profile for a refreshing contemporary twist on the classic gin and tonic serve.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Savile Row Gin

  • 150ml Crisp 1783 Schweppes Tonic

  • Slice of pink grapefruit

  • Mint leaf to garnish

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Pour the gin (which is distilled in England and made up of a unique blend of 12 botanicals) and tonic into a glass.

Step 2: Squeeze a pink grapefruit into the drink, and then leave the sliced fruit in the glass.

Step 3: Place some mint leaves on top to garnish. Then serve to some very happy guests.
