What better way to get into the festive spirit than with an eggnog, eh? Considering it's one of the easiest drinks to make (and one that'll wow all of your housemates!), it's definitely a drink you should be adding to your Christmas drinks list this year.

Not sure how to make it? Luckily for you, *The Debrief's *Culture Writer Jaz wanted to amp up her cooking skills, so she teamed up with Currys PC World to create a cooking vlog filmed on the new Intel® Powered HP Pavilion laptop. Watch her show you how to whip up an xmas eggnog in no time, below...

Ingredients for 4-6 people:

  • 4 egg yolks

  • 50g caster sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 400g can of condensed milk

  • 100ml brandy

  • 75ml water

Method:

  1. Put the sugar in a saucepan and pour in 75ml of water. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved, then cool and chill.
  1. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the vanilla essence until smooth. Add the condensed milk, brandy and cooled sugar syrup and mix!
  1. Pour the mixture into a jug and chill for at least two hours. Serve over ice and enjoy with some mates!
