You know how food porn is great, right? The freakshakes, the rainbow doughnuts. Jamie Oliver’s programme Jamie’s Comfort Food was full of it.
Well now there’s a new type of food porn. It’s not in the traditional style – no heaving plates of deep-fried super-sized goodness, here – in fact, it’s quite the opposite. These are videos of people making teeny tiny meals, on teeny tiny stoves, using teeny tiny utensils. I’m talking like dollhouse sized. Now, they might not sound like much. But they are. They're mesmerizing. Perfect braingasm fodder. Ideal hangover watching.
Here's some favourites.
1. Classic spag bol
Clearly better than any spag bol I have ever cooked in my normal sized kitchen with normal sized utensils. Devastating.
2. Pancakes
The first one I ever did see and a firm favourite.
3. Fake strawberries
Here is a man, making teeny tiny fake strawberries.
4. Red Velvet Cake
A whole damn two-tiered red velvet cake. What.
5. Fake KFC
The detail, though.
6. Steak and Asparagus
A mini slap-up meal.
7. Burger and chips
Tiny burger and chips being created from powder.
