Debrief reader Charlotte Leith went down to Bramble in Edinburgh to find out about the cocktails which have got the Scots in a spin.

"Located in a basement on Queen Street, Bramble's simple, almost invisible signange gives the impression you’re entering some sort of clandestine prohibition joint."
