Usually in this column we try and make something nutritious, healthy and virtuous in a microwave to save you from a £4 salt-filled, cardboard carbonara. Today we rebel. Today we make CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE.
For your hangover pleasure, when going to the shop for stodge is too much effort, this is a baking-free microwavable pudding. Cue up Netflix and put something comfy on because this bad boy will be ready in 90 seconds time.
Chocolate Mug Cake
Ingredients (serves one):

1 large egg
-
1 tsp cocoa powder
-
2 tbsp sugar
-
2 tbsp self-raising flour
-
Splash of milk
-
1 tbsp oil
-
A few squares of your fave chocolate – I used 85% cocoa Lindt
Method
-
Mix the egg, milk and oil together in a microwaveable mug
-
Add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and whisk until as smooth as possible
-
Add broken pieces of your chocolate
-
Microwave on full power for 60 seconds then remove and stir. Microwave again for a further 30 seconds.

Eat.
